In 1993 Mike Carroll and Rick Howard thought to have better formula for a skateboarding company. One that creates great products, that will be proud of the Team and creates a great atmosphere that ensures support and motivation.
In 1999 Mike and Rick led the company Lakai Limited Footwear. With the same dedication and the pride they had always, they invested in their skateboarders.
Lakai shoes
Lakai has always tried to design its shoes as comfortable and stable as possible, because both aspects are important while skating. At various stunts, for example during jumping, it is advantageous, when the shoe sole still contains an additional padding. Sneakers often get strained in skate parks. Lakai has specialized in making the shoes using high quality materials durable and long lasting.
